MISHKA is opening up a new San Francisco location and will be having a big grand opening party this Friday. While I won’t be there in person, unfortunately, you gotta stop by and check out my new vinyl figure collaboration with the AMAZING Japanese genius Shigeru who created these killer NAG dolls. I am so happy with how they came out, they are even better than I thought they would be! Each one comes with a full color NAG comic strip inside with all the header artwork drawn by me (I chose the paint colors as well). They will be on sale at MISHKA SF on Friday where you can also meet Shig in person!

APOLOGY Magazine

My best friend in the whole wide world, Jesse Pearson, has a fancy new magazine out called APOLOGY. I’ve got a piece in the debut issue—an unusual piece for me as it’s a NON-comics, nonfiction piece. It’s called KIDNAPPED and is all about the time my mother was abducted by a crazy boyfriend when I was a kid. Pick up a copy of APOLOGY online (or at an artsy bookseller near you).

PS: There’s some other junk in this magazine too, like a super long interview with Tim and Eric, photos by Ryan McGinley and Terry Richardson, new work by Ian Svenonius and Lesley Arfin—and lots more.

Earlier this month, I got the chance to work with some awesome people on one of my favorite shows, helping film a promo for WORKAHOLICS on Comedy Central. Apparently the ad has started airing now, so keep an eye out for it. I did some rude time-lapsed drawings all over the faces of Blake, Ders, and Adam. Here’s a random screenshot.

PRISON PIT 4 RELEASE PARTY

New GLOW IN THE DARK Figures @ NYCC

Monster Worship is back with two brand-new GLOW IN THE DARK editions of my Cannibal Fuckface and Rottweiler Herpes vinyl figures. They will be debuting both at New York Comic-Con which happens 10/11-10/14. Details on the MW site. (Note: though not pictured here, the CF figure DOES come with a glow Slorge attachment.)

The Monster Worship site also has these new Rottweiler Herpes tees, plus a limited amount of unpainted white RH figures and unpainted black CF figures. See them here.
